The first hydropower plant in Austria in the portfolio of the RENAIO Infrastructure Fund Hydropower
The acquisition of the first hydropower plant in the entirely new region of Austria on September 26, 2022 brings the number of power plants in the RENAIO Infrastructure Fund Hydropower portfolio to 15, with numerous other purchases already nearing completion of the investment process.
The “Korpitsch” power plant is located in the south of the federal state of Carinthia in the border region with Italy and Slovenia on the Freistriz River and has a Pelton turbine with an installed capacity of 535 kW. It was built in 2014 and commissioned a year later.
