The RENAIO Infrastructure Fund Hydropower is an Article 9 fund (SFDR)
Evidence that we as a company are professional about our commitment as provided by the classification of the RENAIO Infrastructure Fund Hydropower as an Article 9 fund.
This classification is an important part of the EU Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). It is intended to make it easier for investors to compare the sustainability of financial products.
The EU published the Action Plan for Sustainable Finance in March 2018.
The aim of this action plan is to ensure stricter compliance with the principles of the UN 2023 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Only very few funds in Europe - currently 3.3% - meet the strict requirements of Article 9 funds.
In the case of the RENAIO Infrastructure Fund Hydropower, 100% of the assets are sustainable investments in accordance with the SFDR Directive.
As at December 31, 2024, the taxonomy ratio at fund level was 92% due to cash positions, whereby a minimum ratio of 90% is required under the SDFR Directive.
We are very proud that our investment fund is a pioneer for sustainable investments in Europe and is one of the "dark green" financial products that offer exceptional environmental benefits.
