RENAIO Infrastructure Fund Hydropower acquires 6 new power plants in northern Italy
At the end of a very successful financial year, the RENAIO Infrastructure Fund Hydropower successfully guided a package of 6 additional power plants through the investment process on December 23, 2022. The number of hydropower plants in the portfolio has increased to 21 as a result of the “Green City” deal.
The hydropower plants are located in Italy and are spread across several regions – north of Belluno as well as in Turin and west of Milan.
This successful deal has created an option for the purchase of three further power plants by Green City Package II in the coming weeks.
This expansion of the portfolio is accompanied by an extremely healthy investment pipeline for 2023.
